1964.12 The Ursulines of the Roman Union of the Order of Saint Ursula, invited by Bishop Joseph Cheng, O.P. of Kaohsiung diocese, decide to found a junior college of foreign languages in Kaohsiung.
1965.12 The first meeting of the Board of Trustees during which Bishop Joseph Cheng, O.P. was elected President of the Board
1966.07 Wen Tzao Ursuline Junior College of Modern Languages formally approved by the Ministry of Education with a total of 200 students in four language departments: English, French, German and Spanish. Inauguration of Mr. Fu-Zhou Wang as the first President of the College.
1966.07 Completion of the west wing and central hall of Zhengqi Hall, the main teaching building.
1966.09 The College Opening Ceremony with Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Cheng, O.P. Saint Ursula’s Feast Day, October 21, was made Wen Tzao Foundation Day.
1967.09 School Choir, Friends of the Poor and other student clubs inaugurated, followed by the first issue of Wen Tzao School Magazine a few months later.

1999.08 College upgraded by the Ministry of Education and renamed Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages.
1999.08 Evening Division combined with Extension Education to become Division of Continuing and Extension Education. Addition of new programs: English, German and Spanish (Day Two-year College) and English (Two-year College: Continuing Education Division).

2010.08 Entrusted by MOE, Wenzao begins to recruit students for the 5-year junior college elite program since the year 2010.
2010.09 After the rage of Fanapi typhoon, teachers and students began the campus recovery. Military also lent a helping hand in relief work.
2010.12 Wenzao received the first class in administrative from the MOE Evaluation. 13 academic departments also receive the first class from the evaluation.

2011.08 Ursuline Education Center was entrusted with teaching and religious counseling. The Centre would offer holistic educational courses for students to cultivate the spirit of the Ursuline Education.
2011.11 Wenzao organized a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to follow the spirit and conduct of Jesus Christ, and called thousands of people to form “the largest star in southern Taiwan”.
